In the feline world, where tails command communication, balance, and comfort, as well as high fashion, poor Sammy struggles from the very start. This story is about a cat named Sammy who has no tail, and is based on real events.

The creators are a family team, inspired by the harrowing ordeals Sammy underwent on his way to finally meeting them and becoming a part of their family. The illustrations are defined by vivid colors, playful compositions, and a constant blend of realism and fantasy, enjoyable for the targeted age group of 4 to 8, as well as the adults who read to them.

This first book follows Sammy through his earliest days. Hurled into the chaos of life-changing circumstances, Sammy ends up on a mysterious journey across the southwestern United States, with a strange assortment of travel companions. Where are they going?… Read more
